Will has been growing bonsai since 1998 when he began studying with Harold Sasaki volunteering time helping Harold and learning this ancient artform. In 2012 Will attended an ABS Bonsai Conference in Denver and took a workshop with Ryan Neil shortly after Ryan returned from his 6 year apprenticeship in Japan. XL Windswept Bristlecone Pine

A large scale Bristlecone Pine bonsai, styled in a windswept form to match the prominent jin. Tree was collected around 2019, and is in a simple high quality Japanese Tokoname pot with thick walls. To Purchase contact Will.


Cascade Juniper

Tree was originally grown by a well known bonsai artist named Alan Hills locally in Wheat Ridge. This tree has a prominent shari on the trunk. Potted in a Sarah Rayner ceramic vessel, allowing the foliage to take on a cascading style. To Purchase contact Will.


Cobra Rocky Mountain Juniper

Lovingly nicknamed "The Cobra" due to its snake-like jin, this Rocky Mountain Juniper was collected in WY. Potted in spring of 2025 into a Lubos Skoda ceramic vessel we had to coil the main root to fit. The Cobra was styled in summer of 2026 by Todd Schlafer and Will to have multiple fronts, as the tree is very large. To Purchase contact Will.


Ponderosa Pine

This Ponderosa Pine has a very interesting and sculptural jin. Syled by Will and Ryan Neil at Bonsai Mirai, it resides in a Waldo Street Pottery rustic ceramic vessel. To Purchase contact Will.


New Mexico Privet on Rose Quartz

A show stopping deciduous rock planting, that has been shown many times at the local Rocky Mountain Bonsai Society annual show, it is a crowd favorite. This New Mexico Privet is fruit bearing and secured tightly to a field of Rose Quartz boulders, in a Japanese glazed oval tray.  To Purchase contact Will.


Juniper Rock Planting

A sandstone planted Juniper Nana styled in context to the stone it is planted on. Tree uses a dynamic design to form cloud like pads of foliage and has multiple apexes. Planted in a Kendall Coniff handmade bonsai pot. To Purchase contact Will.


Slanting Spruce

A slanting-style Colorado Spruce, large sized composition. Tree is verdant and healthy, it features a large shari on the lower trunk and a lance-shaped jin in the apex. Planted in a Ron Lang final firing ceramic vessel. To Purchase contact Will.
